Ontario currently operates a provincial industrial carbon pricing system known as the Emissions Performance Standard (EPS).
The development of CO2 storage regulations are currently underway. Small scale demonstration and innovation based projects are able to sequester carbon underground, with large-scale commercial deployment regulations forthcoming.
