Ensyn produces biocrude from forest and agricultural residues using its proprietary thermal technology. Ensyn's biocrude has been in commercial production for over 30 years for the generation of food ingredients, natural chemicals and heating fuels. Ensyn is now building out its production capacity for a broader commercialization of heating fuels and for other energy products.

Ensyn's biocrude is a Fast Pyrolysis Bio-Oil, or FPBO. For heating applications, Ensyn markets its renewable fuel in the U.S. as RFO®, and in Canada as Low Carbon Fuel Oil (LCFO).
