Planetary removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere safely, durably, efficiently, and at scale. Planetary has successfully delivered hundreds of verified removal tonnes to clients such as Stripe, Shopify, and British Airways.

How does Planetary do this? Using a process called Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE), Planetary restores coastal waters’ ability to absorb carbon dioxide through seawater restoration. Planetary partners with communities, regulators, industrial outfalls, and scientists to support marine ecosystems and reduce the impacts of ocean acidification through OAE.

Where does Planetary do this? Planetary integrates its technology into existing outfall locations, seamlessly removing carbon with common, pre-existing infrastructure— for example, wastewater treatment facilities and power plants. Planetary’s operational footprint can fit into two shipping containers and is set up in a matter of days. By design, our system integrates seamlessly into existing outfalls, making Planetary’s system incredibly efficient and simple to scale.
