Groupe Rémabec is a pillar of the Quebec forestry industry, headquartered in La Tuque and specializing in four niches of excellence, all closely linked : administration, forestry operations, timber processing and the sale of wood products. Today, Groupe Rémabec is proud to be the largest private forest contractor in Quebec and one of the largest sawyers in the province through its Arbec division, which enables it to ensure high-quality direct employment of close to 2,000 employees. Groupe Rémabec is composed of more than 30 subsidiaries and harvests more than 3 million cubic meters of wood each year. In terms of manufacturing, Groupe Rémabec is present in three regions of Québec with its 14 factories, operating in fields such as sawing, planing, butting, bucking, chipping and second processing of hardwood lumber.
